Narrow Aisle Lift Trucks

Course Overview

Powered Lift Truck Safety Training

Injury data analysis indicates that powered lift trucks continue to pose significant risks to workers who operate or work around them. A comprehensive review of accident scenarios reveals that most incidents result from multiple factors, often stemming from breakdowns in the overall system of work organization—including people, equipment, tasks, and the work environment.

This training session offers practical guidance on how participants can protect themselves and others when working with or near powered lift trucks. Key topics include safe operating practices, hazard awareness, and strategies to prevent accidents. Additionally, participants will receive specialized instruction on battery handling, which is an essential component of lift truck operation.

The session is highly interactive, featuring group discussions, case studies, and personalized instruction to ensure participants can apply what they learn in real-world situations. Practical hands-on training will also be conducted to reinforce safe work practices.

Duration: 4 to 6 hours of on-site instruction
