Aerial Lifts

This training program provides comprehensive coverage of various aerial lift devices, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and cherry pickers. Throughout the session, participants will learn about the different hazards associated with working with this equipment, emphasizing safety and risk management. The training is designed to be hands-on and interactive, incorporating group discussions, case studies, and individualized instruction to ensure effective learning. Each participant will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge through practical exercises, enabling them to confidently operate and manage aerial lift devices safely in real-world scenarios. 

Duration: 4-6 hours of on-site instruction.

At the completion of this course participants will have acquired the safety knowledge of:

• The Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations with reference to aerial lifts
• Types of personnel lifts
• Pre-operation inspection
• Re-fueling or recharging
• Stability of specific types of lifts
• Hands on practical safe operating techniques
